Bay Area born and bred, her spiritual and social justice-driven performances mirror her lifelong hunger for social connection and cultural narratives. With wide-ranging influences such as Bjork, Dianne Reeves, Carmen McRae, Joni Mitchell, and Walter Hawkins, vocalist Valerie Troutt is a tremendously creative artist for whom art and activism are intertwined.

Sameer Gupta is known as one of the few percussionists simultaneously representing the traditions of American jazz on drum set and Indian classical music on tabla. By combining traditional and modern improvisational styles drawing from his Indian heritage and American roots, Gupta has already established himself as an original musical voice in jazz, world, and fusion music.

Emily Butterfly is an interstellar story teller who lives to delight children with her magically unique form of puppetry, storytelling and song. She  has had the honor of creating shows and performing for thousands  of preschool and elementary school students and feels blessed to have the abilities to create her own puppet friends, write and perform inspirational tales and direct troupes of puppeteers.

DJ LadyRyan is a defining voice in Bay Area nightlife, with a twenty-year career as a DJ, curator, and community leader. A Bay Area favorite, she inspires a sense of safety, joy, and belonging through her deep musical intuition and grounded presence.

A UC Berkeley–trained attorney turned artist and venue owner, she has toured internationally and performed at Birdland, Blue Note, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and SFJAZZ, collaborating with legends including Pharoah Sanders and Roy Ayers. Her style is warm, intimate, and deeply engaging.
